The Lonoke Middle School Student Council is the student governing body of Lonoke Middle School. The Student Council officers are selected by the student body and are: president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and reporter. Officers are elected in the Spring, so candidates must be sixth or seventh grade students. (The eighth grade students will be moving to high school.) At the beginning of the Fall semester eight representatives are elected from each grade (six, seven, and eight) for a total of 24 representatives. Student Council members lead the student body in saying the Pledge of Allegiance each morning. The Council also organizes several school and community projects throughout the school year.
