April 14-18—Augmented Benchmark Exams: Parents can help by doing a few simple things:
- Encourage your child to try their hardest, to listen to directions, to work every problem, and to double check their work
- Make sure they get to school on time each day. Tardiness causes distractions to all of us, not just your child.
- Make sure they go to bed early, even if it is just during test week. They need the rest.
- Ask them how their testing day went and really listen when they tell you
- Tell them that he or she is really going to do well. Tell them that you know they can do it, and you are counting on them to try hard!
